I just love sunsets, they are so unique and never the same. This was taken driving along the Wild Atlantic Way outside Clifden in Co. Galway.

On a trip to Vancouver we travelled up to Joffre Lakes to do a hike through the park. It was a cold crisp day but the sun was out for a little bit of warmth. The area was stunning and water so clear. The scenery was picturesque so I was quite happy to take as many photos as I could of the area.  

This is my go-to place for a long walk, to relax and take in the different scenes as no two days are the same. I love being by the sea and I find it very calming and it brings me back to where I grew up. The sunsets, sunrises, ebb and flow of the sea make this walk different on every occasion.

Visited Salthill on a trip to Galway for the Christmas Markets in December. Although it was a misty, dull day the sea was calm and there was something inviting about looking out at it.

I love the end of the day when the sun is setting. There is something so beautiful about how the sun sets and creates wonderful colours that reflect on the sea and clouds. This was taken while on a cruise with family in the Caribbean on the way back to Miami.

Enjoy the boardwalk along the River Boyne in the evenings with the still river giving off a lovely reflection of the surrounding sky and trees.

Driving around the winding roads in Kerry is such an experience. There is something so inviting about waiting to see what is around the next bend.

I lived in Melbourne for the majority of my 7 years in Australia and I used to love the sunsets at St.Kilda Beach. Whether it was with friends chilling out or going for an evening stroll to unwind from the day, it was always a calming and special place for me.

After climbing up high into the sand dunes you can look out over the calm sea. I love walking on the beach but it is nice to get a different perspective sometimes. Although this isnt a bright sunset like my usual ones, the calmness of the sea as it rolls onto the beach and gazing out into the Atalntic Ocean makes you sit in awe and wonder what is out there.

I love the contrast of colours in this photo. The blue sky with a few faint lines from overhead airplanes, the fresh summer grass and bright yellow gorse that brightens up the landscape.

Just outside Kenmare there is a pub and across the road a gate overlooking this beautiful scene. The sun setting leaving a golden hue on the distant hills as a sheep and lamb graze peacefully in the foreground.

While in the far south west of New Zealand, I chose to experience Doubtful Sound as opposed to Milford Sound. It was more of a journey to get there and so happy I chose to spend three days trip experiencing this place of such natural beauty. This photo was taken on the way back to the mainland and I loved the amount of blue with a sprinkle of white snow on the mountain tops and white from the waves created by the boat as we left this picturesque, secluded area of the world.

The Daintree Rainforest is located in the north east coast of Queensland in Australia. Some of the best views are seen from being up high so that means making your way up on foot. Taking a break a little bit up this particular hike I saw this scene in front of me and has to capture it. For me it symbolised a journey, although you only see a little bit in front of you, you need to keep the motivation to get to the top but enjoy the steps along the way as much as the destination itself.

Another shot of St. Kilda Beach from the pier on this occasion. I was on the way to see the penguins that come in around sunset every evening to get to their nests in amoungst the rocks.

On a crisp weekend in June 2014, my friends and I got to experience one of the biggest wine festivals in Rutherglen, Victoria, Australia. With wine tastings, live music, food vans and wonderful countryside it was easy to relax and take it in. Of course there was always going to be amazing scenery to take pictures of such as this with the tree reflected perfectly in the pond on the grounds of this winery estate.  

In the surrounding fields of Oldbridge House there are many walking routes. As much as I love the sea it is nice to get close to trees and greenery.

I took this photo on a trip to Sligo. As much as I love a calm sea there is something captivating about waves crashing to the earth and sending its white spray into the air. This picture is only a short walk away from my other photo on the sand dunes.
